Driver of pick-up truck dies in crash on A9 at Dunkeld
BBCA 62-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle crash on the A9 at Dunkeld.
Police said the driver of a white Toyota Hilux pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash at about 10:25 and the road was closed in both directions for six hours to allow for a police investigation.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
The road reopened shortly before 16:30.

Sgt David Farr, of Police Scotland, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this extremely difficult time.
"Our inquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicle prior to the crash to get in contact with officers."
He added: "I would also ask those driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to please review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation."
The Scottish Ambulance Service said an ambulance along with an air ambulance, a critical care team and a special operations response team were sent to the crash.
