Firefighters have been called to a fire affecting 30 hectares (74 acres) of land in Derbyshire.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 13:17 BST on Friday to a field fire on land off Worksop Road in Clowne.

The service said eight fire engines and a water carrier were at the scene, with landowners supporting efforts to tackle the blaze, which involves bales of hay and stubble.

Firefighters advised people to avoid the area and to keep windows and doors closed if they can smell smoke.
