Man charged over death of 32-year-old in Inverness

A man has been charged in connection with the death of a 32-year-old man in Inverness.

Emergency services were called to a house in the city's Strathspey Place, in the Milton of Leys area, on Thursday morning where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 52-year-old man is scheduled to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.

Det Insp Caroline Mackay of Police Scotland said additional police patrols would remain in the area to provide "reassurance" but described the incident as "contained".
