A man has been arrested after a woman was raped on a residential road, police say.

Gloucestershire Police said the attack happened on Stroud Road in Gloucester at 21:30 BST on Sunday and a cordon remains in place.

A 41-year-old man from Gloucester has been arrested and remains in custody.

Investigating officers has urged witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to get in contact.
