Man killed in double stabbing 'was remarkable'
Family handoutA man killed in a double stabbing in east London had a "beautiful spirit and remarkable talent", his family has said.
Mark Orabiyi, 35, died when he arrived at hospital after being found fatally injured in the garden of a property in Silvertown on Friday morning. Another man was also found with stab wounds.
In a tribute, Orabiyi's family said: "Mark was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He brought love, light and joy to our family and to all who knew him."
Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder. The Met Police said a 27-year-old man had been released on bail pending further inquiries, while a man, aged 24, and a 25-year-old woman were released with no further action.
Emergency services had been called to Pankhurst Avenue at about 09:00 BST after reports that a man had been stabbed.
Orabiyi was found in a garden in nearby Rayleigh Road and taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The other man was also taken to hospital where he remains. Police said his condition is not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Det Ch Insp Joanna Yorke, who is leading the Met's investigation, said it was a "tragic incident and my thoughts remain with Mark's family and loved ones."
She said the force's investigation "continues at pace", and appealed for "anyone who might have CCTV or other footage from the morning of the incident that could assist our investigation", to come forward.
