Spectacular alien and fairy costumes made for an impressive fancy dress parade at Isle of Wight Festival.

Saturday saw revellers go all out for the parade at the Cirque de la Quirk stage, where the theme was galactic glamour and space oddities.

Headlining the main stage on Saturday was DJ-producer Calvin Harris, whose set showcased his collaborations with Ellie Goulding, Rihanna, Florence Welch and Sam Smith.

Other performances included Teddy Swims, Rita Ora, Rick Astley and Five.

Frank Carter told festivalgoers he was having the time of his life as the Sex Pistols' frontman, when the band brought 70s punk chaos to the Big Top.

Band members Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock took to the stage, with Carter on vocals, for the penultimate day of the festival.

Acknowledging his bandmates, Carter told the crowd: "If you couldn't tell from my face, I'm having the time of my life.

"What a gift it is to play with these three gentlemen every night."

Isle of Wight Festival is taking place at Seaclose Park near Newport.

The festival draws to a close on Sunday with headliners The Cure, who are joined on the bill by The Kooks, The Last Dinner Party, David Gray and Shed Seven.
