A teenager has been charged with murder over the fatal stabbing of Jamal Ringrose, 15, at a house party in north-west London.

The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, is the ninth person to be arrested in connection with the attack.

Two boys are charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon. Four teenagers suspected of the same offences have been released on bail, and so have two men suspected of rioting.

Jamal was treated at the scene at Dollis Hill on 30 May but died in hospital five days later.

Detectives said the force was implementing extra powers following Jamal's death, allowing officers to stop and search people in the area.

They also reiterated they wanted people's footage from dashcams or mobile phones from the street at that time of the attack.
