Rollerbowl is a 24-lane facility

Rollerbowl, a tenpin bowling alley in Inverness, is to close after 36 years in business.

The 24-lane sports facility in the Culduthel area of the city employs about 25 staff.

The site also offers an arcade, pool hall, diner and bar.

Speaking to the Inverness Courier newspaper, its owner cited new competition and challenging conditions as the reasons behind the planned closure.
