A plan to use town centre offices as apartments has been approved by councillors just over a year after a first version was given permission.

St Mary's House in St Mary's Butts, Reading, will be used to build 41 apartments, with another floor built on the current building to accommodate some of those.

A previous plan, approved by Reading Borough Council in June 2025, was for 37 apartments.

Shop units on the ground floor, a Cancer Research charity shop and Caffè Nero, will be unaffected.
