Properties in a Glasgow street have been evacuated following a chemical incident.

Emergency services were sent to a property on Lenzie Terrace at about 15:30 on Sunday.

Nearby homes have been evacuated as a precaution and the public has been asked to avoid the area.

Anyone who needs assistance can approach officers at the scene or call Police Scotland.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had three appliances and a specialist unit at the scene, but had left by Monday morning.
