Car driven deliberately at man in attempted murder

Police are investigating an attempted murder after a car was deliberately driven at a 22-year-old man in Glasgow.

The incident happened in the Dougrie Road area at about 16:50 on Friday.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Police said extensive inquiries were ongoing and appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.

Det Insp Gill McKinley said: "I am also asking those with dashcam, private CCTV or doorbell footage in the area to review this for anything which may assist our inquiries."
