About 20 firefighters attended the incident in Fengate

Several vehicles and buildings were damaged following a fire at a car garage.

About 20 firefighters and six fire engines were sent to Fengate in Peterborough after a call at 10:57 BST.

The fire was believed to have happened at Hilton MOT Centre.

"Firefighters worked hard using hose reels and the turntable ladder to control and extinguish the fire," said a spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service.

"We will be continuing to inspect the area to make sure it is safe."

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
