Mechanics discover runaway rabbit under car
This is the moment a runaway rabbit was found in the bottom tray of a car by a couple of stunned mechanics.
The bemused bunny was uncovered by Ben Riddell, the director of Hanningfield Motor Company, near Chelmsford, in a Volkswagen Golf that was in for a routine service.
"It then sort of ended a bit like a Benny Hill sketch - we chased it around the workshop, it went behind some cabinets and then we eventually managed to get it out and I'd like to think it's living a happy life in a field somewhere now," he said.
Riddell said it wasn't unusual to find stowaway mice but it was the first time he'd dealt with a rabbit hidden in a car.
