Two men charged with murder after stabbing

Two men have been accused of murder after a man died in a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.

Christopher Bradbury, 44, was fatally wounded on Ridgway Road, near Hanley Park, in the Shelton area of the city at about 19:40 BST on Thursday.

Subhan Nadeem, 20, and Dhannish Mahmood, 19, both from Stoke-on-Trent and described as British Asian, were due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday, charged with Bradbury's murder.

Det Ch Insp Ian Fitzgerald, of Staffordshire Police, said the investigation was continuing and urged people not to speculate about the circumstances of the incident on social media.
