Major road closed after pedestrian hit by car

Police have closed a major road in Nottinghamshire after a pedestrian was hit by a car.

Nottinghamshire Police was called to the A57 in Worksop just after 22:30 BST on Wednesday.

Officers have closed the A57 to the A60 junction, which includes the Netherton Road roundabout (B6034).

The road is expected to be closed for some time while an investigation takes place, the force said.
