A woman who was arrested following a fatal stabbing on Christmas Day has been released on bail.

The 42-year-old woman was held on suspicion of assisting an offender after a 30-year-old man was found dead in Burcot Avenue in Wolverhampton just after 03:30 GMT on Thursday.

Two men, 35 and 58, were arrested on suspicion of murder and have been released with no further action.

The woman has been released on bail pending further inquiries, West Midlands Police said.
