Bristol's annual Harbour Fest has been taking place this weekend, complete with cardboard boat races, live music and drinks in the sun.

Already one of the UK's largest free festivals, this year's event was the biggest yet, having expanded its footprint across the floating harbour in the city.

Among the additions to this year's festival was the stage at Bristol Dockyards, home of the SS Great Britain.

Below are some of the best pictures of the event across the past three days.

On Saturday, people competed in the famous cardboard boat races on the Bristol harbour. All the boats were home-made by the competitors, and only a few of them failed to stay afloat.
