Firefighters tackle blaze in large farm building in Easter Ross

Firefighters have been dealing with a fire in a large farm building near Tain in Easter Ross.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said six appliances and specialist resources were sent to the incident on Fearn Airfield Road.

The alarm was raised at about 09:20 and no-one is thought to have been injured.

A SFRS spokesperson said: "Those who live nearby were asked to keep windows and doors closed due to a large plume of smoke."

SFRS said there was a large plume of smoke from the fire

The Scottish Ambulance Service said it sent an ambulance to the incident.
