Three men charged after death of cyclist in 2023

Three men have been charged following the death of a cyclist in 2023.

A black Mercedes collided with a cyclist at Colney, Norfolk, at 05:10 GMT on Thursday 9 November 2023, Norfolk Police said.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s, died at the scene, the force added.

Sagaanan Suntharalingham, 23, of Houghton Road, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, was charged with causing death by careless driving, causing death by driving a vehicle while uninsured and perverting the course of justice.

Melvin Arulanandam, 24, of Glenthorne Gardens in Sutton, south London, and Pratheep Sukumar, 24, of Adelaide Gardens in Romford, east London, have both been charged with perverting the course of justice.

All three men are due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on 10 July.
