A 34-year-old woman is to stand trial accused of attempting to murder her sister by driving a car at her.

Jade Hutchison denies the alleged murder bid on Shannon Hutchison in Glasgow's Castlemilk area on 2 May 2025.

Court papers state that Hutchison, from Castlemilk, had slapped her sister in the face and had a stand-up fight with her.

She is then alleged to have driven a car at her at excessive speed and mounted a pavement before hitting her with the vehicle, pinning her against a fence.

Hutchison denies the single allegation and will stand trial at the High Court in Glasgow in October 2027.
