Man dies after two men stabbed in harbour area
GettyA man who was stabbed in a Kent town overnight has died from his injuries, with police confirming a murder investigation has begun.
Kent Police said officers were called to the Ramsgate Harbour area at about 04:45 BST to reports of a man with a knife. Two men had been stabbed, one in Harbour Street and one in Harbour Parade.
Both were taken to hospital, where the 52-year-old man found in Harbour Street later died, the force said.
A 21-year-old local man who was arrested shortly after the incident remains in custody, it added.
The second victim, a 48-year-old man found in Harbour Parade, has now been released from hospital.
Kent Police said it was not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
The force is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
