Village rattled by third earthquake in two months
PA MediaA third minor earthquake has hit a small Lancashire village in just two months.
The British Geological Survey (BGS) said the 2.2 magnitude quake shook Silverdale on Saturday night.
BGS reported that tremors started just after 21:30 BST on the border with Cumbria and were also felt in nearby Carnforth.
The coastal village was also hit by two earthquakes in two weeks in December.
