Fire crews tackled a 200-acre blaze in a field in Suffolk.

The fire service said it was called at about 18:45 BST on Saturday to the "fire in a stubble field". It said about 80 hectares of cut straw, trees and hedgerow were "well alight".

Eighteen fire vehicles were at the scene, and nearby residents were told to keep doors and windows closed.

In an update at 22:42, a fire service spokesman said resources were stopped. They added the site would be reinspected on Sunday morning and an investigation into the cause of the fire would be carried out.
