Man, 52, arrested following death in Inverness

Police were called to the Milton of Leys area on Thursday morning

A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man in Inverness.

Police said emergency services were called to the city's Strathspey Place, in the Milton of Leys area, at about 08:30 and a 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Det Insp Caroline MacKay said extensive inquiries were ongoing.

She added: "Additional patrols are being carried out in the area to provide public reassurance and anyone with concerns should speak to officers."
