Father in court over murder of baby son in 2020
Kelvin Jay/Getty ImagesA man has appeared in court charged with murdering his one-month-old baby six years ago.
The boy died in hospital on 10 July 2020 after being admitted a week earlier from an address in Lincombe Drive in the Gledhow area of Leeds, West Yorkshire Police said.
Niall Worsfold, 29, of Farrow Road in Armley, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court earlier charged with murder and one count of child cruelty.
He did not enter any pleas and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Leeds Crown Court on Monday.
