Family's appeal for missing woman who carries guitar
Devon and Cornwall PoliceThe family of a missing woman who travelled to Newquay before her disappearance three months ago have appealed for her to "please try and get in touch".
Holly Collinson, 29, described by police as a "confident and vivacious young woman who is a talented musician", was reported missing on 10 April.
Originally from Leicestershire, she was last seen leaving the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro on 31 March wearing a hospital gown and carrying a guitar, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
In their appeal, her family said: "Holly wherever you are, please try and get in touch. We miss you more and more every day. We are so worried and at our wits end about you wondering if you're safe and well."
Devon and Cornwall PoliceThe appeal added: "We love you so much and dearly wish we hear your voice and see you very soon. No matter what, we are always here for you. We will never give up hope that you are found. You are forever in our prayers.
"Love always, your Mum and Dad."
Holly was seen on CCTV on 30 March in Tregolls Road, Truro, the force said, while she was also sighted in the hamlet of Idless just outside the city in the early hours of that day - when she knocked on a house asking for help.
Police said "she was cold and had no shoes on her feet" and then travelled to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske and later Newquay.
Officers said Collinson was last seen leaving the hospital on 31 March between 09:00 BST and 11:00.
She was wearing a hospital gown, a green jumper and trainers with black and yellow bags underneath used as socks.
She had a white plastic bag and black Takamine acoustic guitar, which was missing a battery pack leaving a hole at the top.
Known to travel using Cornwall's bus network, the force said Collinson was a white female of slim build, 5ft 7in (170cm) tall, with blue eyes and long dark hair - the style of which she often changed.
She could also be using a crutch, the force said.
It said: "After leaving hospital, we believe Holly boarded a bus carrying her guitar and a hospital crutch, wearing the bags under her shoes and carrying a clear bag of belongings."
Police staff investigator Joanne Wilson said Collinson could have headed back to Newquay after leaving hospital and appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
Thanking the public for their help, she said they had "pieced together" Collinson's movements after a series of appeals.
"Unfortunately, we still don't know where Holly is now," she added.
