A 51-year-old man has been arrested after £130,000 of cannabis was found in a police raid in Glasgow

Officers, acting on intelligence, made the discovery during a search of a property in Abbeyhill Street, in the Carntyne area, on Friday.

Police Scotland said the man was arrested and charged, and a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Det Supt Steven Elliot added: "It sends a clear message that we will not tolerate illegal drugs in our communities and we will do all we can to target those involved."
