Roads reopened after 'suspicious item' found
GoogleA cordon has been lifted in Retford after police resolved an incident involving a "suspicious item".
Nottinghamshire Police said road closures had been put in place around Chesterfield Canal and Raglan Road on Monday.
The force previously said there was "no threat to the public", but added that as a precaution roads had been cordoned off.
It later confirmed the situation had been "safely resolved" and thanked the public for their "patience and cooperation".
