Four men have been arrested after a man was found dead in Lincoln.

The body of a 51-year-old was discovered at a property on Alness Close at 21:50 GMT on Thursday, Lincolnshire Police said.

Two of the men, aged 28 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and have been released on bail.

Two other men, aged 49 and 40, arrested in connection with the incident, have also been released on bail.

The force said a reduced police presence was in place at Alness Close and Newark Road while officers "investigate all possible avenues surrounding the incident".

Police said the death was being treated as "unexpected" and a post-mortem examination had yet to reveal the cause of death.
