Three attempted murder arrests after town stabbing

Three people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing which left a teenager critically injured.

Two 17-year-old youths and an 18-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody.

The 19-year-old victim remains in a critical condition in hospital after police were called to Market Street in Oldbury following reports of a fight involving a group of teenagers on Thursday afternoon.

West Midlands Police appealed for anyone who saw what happened and might be able to help with inquiries to contact them.
