Man dies after one-car crash outside supermarket
GoogleA man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a tree in a Kent village, police have said.
Kent Police said the crash happened on London Road in Ditton at about 13:30 BST on Saturday, near the entrance to a Lidl supermarket.
A silver Vauxhall Astra struck a tree and fencing, and the driver, a man in his 40s, was airlifted to a London hospital but later died.
The force said the man's next of kin had been informed and has asked witnesses or motorists with dashcam footage to come forward.
