Cannabis plants worth more than £300,000 found in Aberdeen

Police said more than 300 cannabis plants were discovered

A man has been charged after cannabis worth more than £300,000 was seized in Aberdeen.

Police said over 300 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of £320,000, were discovered at Don Street in the Woodside area of the city.

Officers had executed a warrant on Monday morning.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged and was due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

Police Scotland described it as a "significant" recovery.
