The car crashed into the front window of the property, causing significant damage

A man has been charged after a residential property was significantly damaged in a collision, leaving its occupants homeless.

Avon and Somerset Police said the crash involved an Audi A4 colliding with a wall and residential property in Stapleton, near Martock, on 6 July 2025. Two passengers, both male, were also seriously injured.

Ryan Lampert, 26, from the Millands, Somerton, appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by disqualified driving.

Lampert was released on conditional bail and is due to appear at Taunton Crown Court on 13 July.
