A man has been taken to hospital after he took unwell in the early hours in Aberdeen city centre.

Police cordoned off some of the Schoolhill area, between Robert Gordon's College and Back Wynd, on Tuesday morning.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said it received a call just before 04:00 to attend the incident at Back Wynd.

Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and the man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
