It is obscuring what is presumably a person laying on the floor, but we can see two officers, a paramedic and other people crowded around. To the right is a stretcher, not in use. Two cars have crumpled bonnets and debris is on the floor. An ambulance is off further to the right but is partly cropped out.Mohammed Mahmood

A female driver was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash which saw the driver of the other car involved flee the scene.

Burngreave Road in Sheffield was closed at about 13:00 GMT on Monday after the collision between the blue Peugeot 2008 and grey Jaguar XF.

The female Peugeot driver was taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening, but the Jaguar driver then left the scene on foot.

A police spokesperson said inquiries were ongoing and asked anyone with information to get in touch.
