Cyclist taken to hospital after crash with car
GoogleA man has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a cyclist and a car in Derbyshire.
Emergency services were called to the Bowshaw Roundabout, near Dronfield, at about 06:20 BST on Friday after the crash between a red Renault Clio and cyclist.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment, a spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said.
The force added his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Road closures that were in place earlier on Friday have now been lifted, the force added.
