A permanent banking hub is set to open in Dorking town centre in the coming months.

It will replace the temporary hub currently operating out of Mole Valley District Council's Pippbrook offices.

Operated by Cash Access UK, the banking hub is part of a scheme to protect face-to-face financial services.

All traditional bank branches have been closed in the Dorking area since 2023.

Customers of all major banks will be able to carry out normal transactions, including depositing cash and cheques, withdrawing cash, or paying utility bills.

Customers of Barclays, HSBC, Natwest, Santander and Lloyds will also be able to speak to a community banker from their bank in person.

Ahead of the hub opening, Cash Access UK will hold an information drop-in on 12 June in St Martin's Walk.

The permanent site is set to open on Dorking High Street in summer 2026.
