Pups in the Park will take place at Pearson Park and East Park in Hull

Pet owners are being invited to attend two events in Hull celebrating the positive impact that dogs can have on our wellbeing.

Hosted by mental health charity Hull & East Yorkshire Mind, Pups in the Park will take place at Pearson Park on 11 July and East Park on 16 August from 10:30 BST.

All funds raised will support the charity's work, with the events including dog show classes, local traders, refreshments and family friendly activities.

The charity said the event recognised the positive difference that dogs make to our mental health by helping us stay active, get outside and provide companionship.

The charity said everyone is welcome to attend and the cost is £2 per adult and £2 per dog entered into a class, which can be booked online.
