Train services have been cancelled in a county due to a fire next to the tracks, a rail operator has said.

Greater Anglia cancelled the 13:58 BST Ipswich to Felixstowe service - and subsequent trains - after the blaze next to the railway near Derby Road in south-east Ipswich.

The company said tickets would be accepted on the First Bus routes 75 and 77 between the two towns.

"Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption," a spokesperson said.

They added that the fire service was at the scene.
