A CCTV image has been released of a man police wish to speak to as part of an investigation into a reported rape in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police received a call at about 17:25 BST on 18 June that a teenage girl had been raped near Cat Lane in Gleadless Valley.

Described by the force as as a "black man with a large build who is about 5ft 6in tall", he was wearing dark burgundy trousers, a black hooded jacket, black rucksack and white trainers.

Supt Martin Simcock said: "If you were in the area at the time and saw someone matching the description of the man in this image, please get in touch with us. He could hold important information which may help us progress our investigation."
