Storm-damaged footpath to remain closed until May
BBCA public footpath in the south of the Isle of Man is set to remain closed until May after a section was washed away in a recent storm.
The public right of way, which runs between Arbory and Malew, was left impassable after part of a riverbank eroded during Storm Amy in early October.
The Department of Infrastructure initially put an emergency closure in place but warned it was "likely to be extended until remedial work can be scheduled". Fallen trees also need to be removed.
The closure order will be in place until 6 May between Ronague Road in Arbory and the Ballamaddrell road at Ballatrollag in Malew.
