Jersey house explosion trial date set for June
BBCJersey's gas company is due to face a trial in the Royal Court in June over a house explosion in St Saviour.
Jersey Gas, which trades under the name Island Energy, pleaded not guilty at the Royal Court in February to a charge under the Health and Safety at Work Jersey Law 1989.
The charge was for failing to "ensure the health and safety of persons not in their employment, including the public".
It followed an investigation by the Health and Safety Inspectorate into the explosion at a property on Mont Pinel in June 2024. Two adults and two children were taken to hospital after being rescued from the property that was partially destroyed.
The 10 day trial is due to start on 22 June.
