Woman seriously hurt in fall from bus

A woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after falling from a bus in Dudley, police have said.

Officers were called to Kingswinford Road near Russells Hall Hospital at about 06:30 BST on Tuesday following reports that a woman in her 50s had been injured.

The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

West Midlands Police said its Serious Collision Investigation Unit was leading inquiries into the incident.

The force is appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
