Firefighters continue to battle a huge blaze at a shop in a town.

Cleveland Fire Brigade was called to Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough at about 10:45 BST.

Cleveland Police said it had closed the road in both directions between Gresham Road and Princes Road due to the fire.

Ten crews are at the scene and and an aerial platform is being used.

Police asked people to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
