A man stabbed at his home in Warwickshire was the "passionate" chief executive of a technology company.

AI firm Node4, based in Derby, said it was devastated by the death of its CEO Neil Muller, who died on Sunday.

Police were called to a house on Langley Road in Claverdon, near Warwick, at about 06:15 BST.

A 55-year-old woman from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of murder and later released on bail, the force added.

Muller completed a 345km (215 mile) cycle ride from Great Yarmouth to Warwick in two and a half days, in support of charity MollyOllys Wishes last year.

Muller's Linkedin celebrates his career in technology. He began his career at Computacenter, where he worked for 21 years working his way up to a managing director before he left in 2015.

He then became CEO of Daisy Group for almost four years before leaving to become CEO of Digital Space, where he worked for seven years until October 2025.

He began working at Node4 in April.

A Node4 spokesman said: "Although Neil only recently joined Node4, he made a meaningful impact in a short space of time. He brought real energy, momentum and passion to the business, and his loss will be deeply felt by people across Node4 and the wider industry.

"Our thoughts are with Neil's family, our colleagues and everyone who knew Neil at this very difficult time".

Muller was also closely involved in Claverdon Football Club, serving as both manager and assistant manager in recent years.
