Man accused of car park stabbing to go on trial

Keeling will go on trial in January 2027

A man charged in connection with a stabbing is due to go on trial after denying a number of offences, including wounding with intent.

William Keeling, 22, of Springbank, Cheltenham, appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Monday after a man was seriously injured in a car park on Rodney Road, Cheltenham, on 16 July.

Keeling also pleaded not guilty to threatening another with an article with a blade or point and assault by beating.

A trial date for Keeling has been set for 25 January 2027.
