A motorcyclist killed in a crash in Stoke-on-Trent was "loved and adored", his family have said.

Oakley Shim died when the motorbike he was riding crashed with a car on Anchor Road, Adderley Green, at about 10:00 BST last Wednesday.

In a tribute, the family of the 18-year-old, from Bucknall, described him as their "beautiful son-shine".

"You were loved and adored by every person you ever met, and your smile was the biggest in every room," they said.

"There will only ever be one of you Oak, forever young and forever in our hearts. Catch you later, Oakie bear."

Staffordshire Police said his next of kin were being supported by specialist officers and the force has appealed for anyone who has footage or information about the incident to get in touch.
