Tuesday's remaining sailings have been cancelled due to adverse conditions

Two sailings between the Isle of Man and Lancashire have been cancelled due to strong winds.

Tuesday's 13:45 GMT sailing from Heysham to Douglas and her 19:15 return leg have been called off due to the turbulent forecast.

It comes as a 15-hour yellow weather warning for heavy rain remains in place until 21:00, with strong southeast and southerly winds also forecasted throughout the day.

Passengers can amend their bookings free of charge, the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has said.
