Police appeal after girl, 13, falls from e-bike

A teenage girl has died after falling from an e-bike in a town centre and police have appealed for witnesses.

Northamptonshire Police said it was called to Elizabeth Street in Corby following the incident, which happened between 14:00 and 15:00 BST on Tuesday.

The girl, aged 13, was taken to hospital but police said she died a short time later having suffered serious injuries.

The force has asked anyone with information to contact police by calling 101.
