Emergency services were called to an address in Balby on Sunday morning

A toddler is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after falling from a first-floor window in Doncaster.

South Yorkshire Police said it happened at a property in Burton Avenue in Balby on Sunday.

Emergency services attended at 09:40 BST and the child was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Pictures shared on social media show an air ambulance landing at the scene on Sunday morning. The BBC has contacted Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service for more information.
